Maintenance Specifications
Significant cost savings can be realized from the correct application of planned preventative maintenance techniques to building services systems. All too often expensively designed and engineered projects are handed over to the client, only to become subject to inadequate maintenance regimes.
The increasing complexity of maintenance services requires that a high level of professional maintenance is made available at all times.
Following a comprehensive audit, WPPM prepares a thorough preventative maintenance specification. Consideration is given to any existing maintenance contract to ascertain whether it requires modification or incorporation into subsequent WPPM proposals.
Specifics of every contractual agreement relating to tender documentation are finalized in association with the client. Maintenance intervals and specific work content for each item of plant and/or components are specified. Experienced maintenance contractors are invited to tender against this document on a competitive basis.
Contractors recommended for tendering are bound by strict guidelines maintained by WPPM. These include more than 40 Codes of Practice set forth in the maintenance agreement and help ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained.
