WPPM complete Project 10,000
15th September 2009 was an auspicious day for WPPM, when they commenced job number 10,000. Averaging over 500 projects per year, since their creation in 1990, recent months have seen significant activity, both in the dilapidation and on going maintenance market places. We look forward to the next 10,000 and reporting number 20,000 in the not so distant future.
WPPM Birmingham relocates to Colmore Plaza
WPPM has relocated to new prestigious offices in Colmore Plaza, Birmingham. Situated in the city centre close to Snowhill Station, Colmore Plaza is a prestigious 14 storey building, together with 5 levels and basement, which has achieved the BCO guide very good BREEAM rating. The relocation has been driven by a necessity to be close to our core Midland clients and is a foundation for future expansion. This includes recent requests by major London based customers to also manage their Midlands portfolios. The Colmore Plaza project, is a prestigious development for Abstract Land of over 33,000 sqm2. The building is well known to the Watkins Payne Group, as Watkins Payne acted for the developer in a monitoring capacity for all aspects of the building services installation. This included intensive reviewing of all drawings, technical submissions, installation standards and commissioning results.
WPPM employ new Associate Director - Business Development, David Stringer
WPPM have employed a new Associate Director - Business Development, David Stringer, to cover their three offices in Sunbury, the West End and Birmingham. David has over 20 years sales and marketing experience and holds a Masters degree in Marketing. In line with WPPM’s commitment to continual professional development (CPD) David has just gained his Chartered Marketeer status and also lectures part-time in marketing strategy at the University of Portsmouth Business School. We welcome David on board and look forward to his input in the strategic growth of WPPM.
