Traffic Analysis
As part of our services, WPLE provides thorough traffic analysis for all vertical systems. The information derived from these studies not only provides needed statistical data for proper maintenance specifications, but also helps building owners with methodical lifecycle analysis and planning.
A traffic analysis within your structure can be performed at any stage. For new construction we use a series of calculations working with information developed with the architect about the arrangement and use of the building. For existing structures we perform onsite and actual analysis of your equipment and observe first-hand how current loads, use and speeds impact your system’s performance.
Our team of professionals integrates their knowledge from years in the business to help define, install and configure the appropriate schedules, times and speeds for your lifts and escalators.
Considerations for all traffic analysis include:
| |
Car start times
Passenger transfer times
Intended lift capacity
Peak traffic times
Building population distribution
Number of floors served
Typical loads
Speed
Number of cars in bank configuration |
Our traffic analysis considers all aspects of the building serviced by the lifts including below the street facilities, such as basements, and high traffic stops such as restaurants or service-oriented facilities.
Our goal is to configure your equipment to perform on a schedule and within timeframes that suit you and the needs of the building’s occupants and visitors. |
