CDM Compliance

As an amendment to the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974 ["the 1974 Act"], the Construction Design and Management [CDM] Regulations of 1994 came into force on March 31, 1995.

The act states that all projects scheduled to extend longer than 30 days or which involve more than 500 person days of construction require the appointment of an onsite-planning supervisor. Projects defined by the act include: restoration, cleaning, new construction, upgrades, demolitions, excavations, clearing and many others.

WPHS was formed to help companies navigate and comply with this extensive regulation. Not only do we serve as a reference to determine if a planning supervisor is needed, but we supervise each step of the regulatory process once we are brought on board to ensure 100% compliance.
